Yamhill CCO’s Early Learning Hub releases requests for proposals

Yamhill CCO’s Early Learning Hub is releasing Requests for Proposal for the following:

1. Family support services for children age 0-6 RFP

Yamhill Community Care’s Early Learning Hub is releasing funds for projects that will occur between November 1, 2021 and September 30, 2022. These funds will support programs that promote the wellbeing of children and families and increase the strength and stability of families (including adoptive, foster, and extended families), that increase parents’ confidence and competence in their parenting abilities, that afford children a safe, stable and supportive family environment, that strengthen parental relationships and promote healthy marriages, and that otherwise enhance child development.

Funding: YCCO Early Learning Hub will award up to $35,000 in Community Funds. Each award will be between $2,500 and $10,000.

Funding will be reimbursable only and will require documentation of expenses.

All application are due by 11:59 pm on Friday, October 1st.

 

2. Kindergarten readiness/transition activities & Preschool – grade 3 professional development RFP

Yamhill Community Care’s Early Learning Hub is releasing funds for projects that will occur between November 1, 2021 and September 30, 2022. These funds will support programs that promote community and school partnerships that result in measurable increases in children’s readiness for kindergarten, with a focus on supporting successful transitions into kindergarten for all children and engaging families as equal partners in children’s learning and development.

Applications will also be accepted for professional development opportunities that include early childhood and kindergarten to grade three educators/administrators. These opportunities must be focused on school readiness and/or kindergarten transitions, with priorities given to trainings that focus on the development of socioemotional skills in children.

Funding: YCCO Early Learning Hub will award up to $55,000 for school readiness and/or kindergarten transition projects. Each award will be between $2,500 and $20,000. Up to an additional $15,000 may be awarded for professional development opportunities. These awards will be capped at $5,000 each.

Funding will be reimbursable only and will require documentation of expenses.

All application are due by 11:59 pm on Friday, October 1st.
