Yamhill Community Care Early Learning Hub to host Free Community Baby Shower
Newberg, Ore. – The Yamhill Community Care Early Learning Hub is hosting a free Community Baby Shower for new and expecting parents in Yamhill County:
Who: New and expecting parents (partners and siblings are welcome!)
What: Free Community Baby Shower
When: Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Where: Chehalem Cultural Center, 415 E Sheridan St., Newberg, OR 97132
Why: Provide resources to parents related to pregnancy, childbirth, and infancy.
No registration required; come and go event. This event will provide a resource fair, baby shower prizes, raffle prizes, free goodie bags, light food, and non-alcoholic beverages.
“We look forward to hosting our free community baby shower for local families,” said Jennifer Laine, Director of the Yamhill Early Learning Hub. ” The event is designed for families to access valuable resources that support their parenting journey while also providing an opportunity to connect with other parents and leave with fun and practical gifts. This year, advance registration is not required, and it will be a come-and-go event to accommodate families’ schedules.”
The Yamhill Community Care Early Learning Hub brings together early childhood, K-12 education, health, human and social service, community, business, government, and philanthropic sectors to improve outcomes for young children and align services into one efficient and effective county-wide early learning system.
