Yamhill Community Care Achieves Full Metrics Payout and Challenge Pool
Excellent results highlight value of local care
McMinnville, Ore. – Yamhill Community Care (YCCO) has achieved 104 percent of its 2022 coordinated care organization (CCO) metrics incentive. It did so by meeting the state benchmark or improvement target for 12 out of 14 incentivized measures and the challenge pool, making it a top performer.
“The value of local health care is demonstrated by these outstanding health outcomes,” said Seamus McCarthy, President & CEO. “The numbers don’t lie: community-based CCOs continue to improve health care quality and access.”
The official report, published last week by the Oregon Health Authority (OHA), shows how each CCO performed on 2022 metrics. Metrics are set annually by OHA with guidance from health care experts.
YCCO has improved the health outcomes for its members every year since it became a CCO, including meeting the challenge pool metrics, which unlock additional dollars for meeting even higher expectations.
“I would like to thank our provider partners for the exceptional care reflected in these numbers,” said Dr. Jim Rickards, MD, MBA, MPH, Chief Medical Officer for YCCO.
YCCO reinvests incentive dollars in community initiatives, including evidence-based, primary prevention and value-based payments aimed at further improving care.
