McMinnville Clinic Manager Named 2025 Immunization Champion
Recognized by the Association of Immunization Managers (AIM) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
McMinnville, OR – Yamhill Community Care (YCCO) is proud to celebrate Tracie Koepplin, Clinical Manager at Physicians Medical Center, P.C., as Oregon’s 2025 Immunization Champion Award winner. The award, hosted by the Association of Immunization Managers (AIM) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), honors individuals who go above and beyond to promote and foster immunizations for children and adults in their communities.
Koepplin was nominated for her instrumental role in energizing the YCCO Immunization Workgroup. Under her leadership, the workgroup partnered with YCCO to design and implement a multipronged public awareness campaign reminding the public about the importance of vaccines at all life stages. The campaign included social media, internet ads, radio, and a TV commercial. English and Spanish messages helped reach diverse audiences to encourage families to protect themselves against vaccine-preventable diseases.
“I nominated Tracie for this award because I observed firsthand her tireless efforts to improve vaccine communication in our community,” said Dan Cushing, Government Affairs Director, who leads YCCO’s communications team. “She has used her compelling personal story to educate, inspire, and protect others. Tracie’s courage and advocacy have improved vaccination rates, making her a true Immunization Champion.”
The Immunization Champion Award is presented annually to winners from across the country. This year, 46 award winners were recognized nationwide.
