Stay Connected, Stay Covered

Federal law changes (“HR 1”) will affect some YCCO Members starting January 1, 2027.

Starting January 1, 2027, there will be new rules for YCCO Members renewing their health plan coverage. YCCO is a Medicaid health plan (also called Oregon Health Plan), so we have to follow new federal rules.

The main changes affect some adults aged 19-64:
  • More frequent renewals
  • Work or activity requirements (some members are exempt)
To avoid confusion, we are asking members, providers, and community partners to visit OHA’s webpages directly for detailed information.
  • Find Local Help: https://healthcare.oregon.gov/Pages/find-help.aspx
  • Frequently Asked Questions: English & Spanish
  • Info for Members: OHP.Oregon.gov/HR1
